This burger was introduced to my husband and I by our good friend here in Holland, Rosie! She served them as sliders at a dinner party and they have since become our go-to burger! They are hearty and so flavorful. I always top mine with some lettuce, tomato, and of course, avocado!
1 can black beans
1 cup brown rice
½ cup bread crumbs ( or ground oats)
little chili powder
1/8 cup toasted walnuts
1/8 cup chopped red onion
1-2 garlic cloves- chopped
1/8 cup ground flax seed
½ cup grated carrots
1.5 tbs ketchup or tomato paste
1/2tps each salt/ pepper
1/4 cup sesame oil
1/4 cup water
Combine ingredients in food processor.
Put oil on pan. Heat on medium. Made burgers as big or small as you want!
Cook on stove top until both sides are nicely browned.
